Susan Rundle

Director

Susan Rundle

Susan began her performing career as a ballet dancer and teacher, before moving into musical theatre, studying drama at Canterbury University and under renowned New Zealand actress and director Elizabeth Moody. Finding her true passion in theatre, Susan has been involved in more than 60 productions as an actor, choreographer or director in both Australia and NZ.  Susan has won a number of awards for directing and productions over the years (for which she is very proud) but it is the process of working with the creative team and the actors to bring out their best and ensuring that the audience has a great experience that brings her the most pleasure. This is Susan’s first time directing at Mordialloc Theatre Company and it is a pleasure to work with such a great cast, and supportive and committed theatre company.

Genya Mik

Judy is a picture-perfect ’50s housewife. She spends her days making the perfect devilled eggs, mixing the perfect Screwdrivers and being the perfect homemaker. Genya will eat any eggs cooked for her, drink any Screwdrivers served to her and aims to one day remember to do the washing on time. This role was obviously a match made in heaven. Genya is so excited to have the chance to play the perfect housewife at least once in her life.
