SYNOPSIS
Every couple needs a little fantasy to keep their marriage sparkling, right? But behind the gingham curtains, being a domestic goddess is not as easy as it looks.
Judy and Johnny have chosen to lead a 50’s lifestyle, clothes, décor, appliances. She stays at home while Johnny works as an estate agent. He hopes for a promotion. He realises they have financial problems; the house might be repossessed. Three years earlier Judy had taken voluntary redundancy, but the money has run out.

All rehearsals will occur at The Girl Guide Hall, Glebe Avenue, Cheltenham. Rehearsal schedule will be arranged with cast but most likely Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

Sunday 10th November – Matinee performance
Wednesday 13th November – Evening Performance
Thursday 14th November – Evening Performance
Friday 15th November – Evening Performance
Saturday 16th November – Matinee & Evening Performances
Sunday 17th November – Final performance (Matinee)
Please ensure you would be available for all performances before auditioning. If you have a conflict with any of the rehearsal dates, please advise the Director at audition and if it becomes relevant, every effort will be made to work with it.
Please note that there is no need to fully “memorise” the below sections, but please familiarise yourself fully with the play and the character’s development.
